The Cause:
We are raising food and funds for the North County Food Bank

Admission is free but one of the following is appreciated:
3 non-perishable food items -OR- $5 Donation
This is the suggested donation but please GIVE ALL THAT YOU CAN!

Summer 2016 PRFD Results!

The Summer 2016 Punk Rock Food Drive was our most successful Punk Rock Food Drive yet!

Since 2009 when we started this mess, we have never raised more meals than we did this round.
But let's be honest - YOU raised these meals. We simply provided an opportunity to give.

Let's take a look at the numbers:
The food that was collected and brought to the show totaled 599 pounds!
Direct donations, online donations, Grubby's fundraiser, raffle sales, t-shirt sales, and auctions brought in $3,018 in funds!

All of these numbers come to a grand total of 15,500 meals raised for The North County Chapter of The San Diego Food Bank.

This is a tremendous accomplishment that all involved should be incredibly proud of.  Friends, family, raffle donors, bands, and attendees - We all did this together!

Thank you for continuing to make Punk Rock Food Drive a rewarding and useful endeavor. The time and effort put into organizing these events comes back a thousand fold thanks to this community's overwhelming capacity to care.

7th Annual Thanksgiving PRFD Results!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
The results are in!

The 7th Annual Thanksgiving Punk Rock Food Drive was held on November 7th at Pier View Pub.
Friends, family, and music fans came out in full force, donating their food, time, and money to support The North County Food Bank

Through the concert event and fundraising efforts leading up to the show we were able to raise 755 pounds of food and $2,599. All of those numbers come out to an average of 13,500 meals raised for North County Food Bank! That is an insane amount of food!

Thank you to all of our PRFD family for continuing to pack these shows and pack those food bins. Your care and efforts have helped so many in this community who rely on the food bank's services to feed themselves and their families!

Summer 2015 PRFD Results!

Results for The Summer 2015 Punk Rock Food Drive are in!

The food raised at that show and from everyone's mini-food drives they set up came out to 594 pounds!

The money raised from raffle, auction, t-shirt sales, Grubby's fundraiser, and direct donations came out to $2,618!

Doing a little food math on those figures means that we raised over 10,900 meals!

That is a tremendous achievement and we can't thank everyone who pitched in enough for making it possible. Thank you for making the most out of this opportunity to give!

6th Annual PRFD Results!

The results are in for PRFD 6!

We raised $1,302 and 760 pounds of food.
That adds up to 5,819 meals!

5,819 meals! That's enough to feed five people, 3 meals a day for a year. Or yourself, 3 meals a day for five years if you're a hermit or don't like eating with friends. We prefer to share and are thankful we have friends like you to continue to make PRFD an event that exceeds our expectations and makes a much needed difference in the lives of individuals and families here in San Diego! You're all incredibly awesome!

PRFD 5 Results!

Hordes of giving people came out to Boar Cross'N on December 1st to bring food and donate cold hard cash through t-shirt sales and raffle participation.  Thanks to their efforts we amassed 556 pounds of food and $683 for North County Community Services.  That's over 3,100 meals which is pretty damn awesome.

Also, special thanks to Grubby's for hosting a fundraising night for PRFD.
