Thank you to everyone who made it out to Iron Fist last Saturday for Slabratory Presents The 9th Annual Punk Rock Food Drive

So many tremendous folks spent a ton of time and energy ensuring the success of our event.

Iron Fist Brewing Company is one of the raddest places we’ve had the privilege of hosting this event. Our sixteenth show went as smooth as we’d expect thanks to your excellent staff and hospitality.

Thank you to all of the businesses that donated towards our raffle. Pitching in to win prizes from your great companies is always a blast for attendees.

San Diego County has some incredible bands so there is always so much talent to choose from when booking a PRFD event. We loved the mix of sounds of this year’s acts. Thank you to Oceanside Sound System, Surface Report, Fallen Monuments, Badabing, NOWHERELAND, Parade of Horribles, and Drew Smith for rockin’ our damn socks off.

Thank you to the groups and individuals who raised food at their businesses and added it to our fundraising efforts. Wavelength Brewing Company and Oceanside Ale Works hosted bins the week leading up to the event. Vista Fit Body Boot Camp raised 784 pounds of food in two weeks! Others brought food with them to Iron Fist to add over 1,200 more pounds.

Thank you to Los Tacos for hosting a fundraising night and to everyone who donated online. The money raised there coupled with the amount raised on Nov. 11th added up to $3,124!

The total meals of all the foods and funds that were presented to North County Food Bank comes to roughly 17,200 meals!

This community is unbelievable. We are always humbled by your generosity and look forward to the next opportunity to embrace it.
