Thank you for an unbelievable PRFD!

The Summer 2013 Punk Rock Food Drive took place at The Void in San Diego on July 13th. Many people came out with food to donate, others supported by buying raffle tickets and t-shirts. Most did both!

Through everyone's combined efforts we raised around 450 pounds of food as well as $425 for the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. These amounts equate to roughly 2,050 meals! That is quite a bit of food, enough to feed a person for almost two years!

This was a great turnout for our first event flying down south to the greater SD area.

Special thanks goes out to HeartRot, Dead Frets, Parade of Horribles, Revenge Club, Moosejaw, and Sculpins for donating their time and talents for the night to benefit our hungry neighbors. Find these bands in your area next time you can, they're all pretty damn amazing.

The next PRFD event will be the 5th Annual Thanksgiving Punk Rock Food Drive happening in North County. We are gonna take a quick breath and then get to work nailing down all the details for that show. Year 5, wow. That's kind of a big deal.
